Bitcoin Trader Warning

We have been seeing lately that a lot of these websites calling themselves very generic crypto-related names like Bitcoin Trader have nothing to do with trading cryptocurrency at all. Very often these names are not registered as trademark, even though this is a claim they make. They also claim regulation with the FCA but this is very rarely the case. In the most part these websites are actually affiliate links to very dangerous offshore, unregulated broker sites that are under no legal recompense if they fail to reimburse you the amount you have invested or earned in trades.

We recommend that UK internet users do not sign up for trading online unless they have established that the broker they are entering into a relationship with is fully regulated by the FCA and can be found and verified on the FCA register.
